Medtrum is dedicated to simplifying diabetes for people from around the world. We have created social media communities to engage with our stakeholders, foster discussion and learn about your experience. Our communities may contain posts by third parties. As such, we are not responsible for their content or opinions, and we reserve the right to remove any comment or content for any reason.
We look forward to an open communication with you; however, as you participate on our social media communities, please keep the following things in mind:
Comments Seeking or Containing Medical Advice
Please remember that this is not an official outlet for medical advice and is not intended to act as a replacement for advice from your doctor. Medtrum does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or otherwise engage in the practice of medicine, and information on our social media communities should not be considered medical advice. If you are experiencing a medical problem, please consult a health care professional for diagnosis and treatment.
Comments or Questions About Products and Therapies
If you post a question related to a product or therapy, we may have to take the conversation offline to gather more information.
Comments That May Involve a Potential Product Complaint
As a medical device manufacturer, we strive to design products that are safe and benefit patients and health care providers. If a comment infers that there may be a problem with our product, we may contact you to investigate the nature of the complaint according to our company’s policies.
Comments About Unapproved Uses of Products
We do not promote or encourage the use of our products for unapproved uses. Accordingly, we may remove comments about the use of our products in a manner that is inconsistent with the product’s approved labeling.
Comments Containing Personally Identifiable Information
We may remove comments or posts that contain personal information about you or someone you know, including phone number, address, email, date of birth, or other personally identifiable information. It may be better instead for us to have a private dialogue about your issue through email or telephone conversation.
Comments Containing Vulgarity
Medtrum wants to provide a respectful and welcoming community for all and may remove comments that use profanity, hate speech or other offensive language.
Comments That Are Off-Topic
We want it to be easy for our followers to find relevant and useful information. Sometimes comments are posted that are off-topic, make unsupported accusations or claims, contain misleading information, promote the buying and selling of goods or services or spam. We reserve the right to remove these comments if they deter from our community’s intent.
